Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory

We love this brand and get a Carmel apple at least 1x a week in Idaho. But this location is a let down every time. The apples are always mushy. The 2nd time it happened we actually returned our order. The employees were severely annoyed and unhelpful which I realize is a result of poor management. This weekend, we purchased three apples and they all were mushy we just threw them out. Tried the Riverwoods location in Provo and it was perfection. We’ll not return here and would not recommend this location to our friends and family. Zero stars.

They offer hot chocolate but nowhere nearby to sit and enjoy it. All the same though because the hot chocolate was a let down. For a place that calls itself a chocolate factory, I was surprised that it was just serving water and powder hot chocolate... literally just a machine that gas stations would have. And for $7?? I only went for hot chocolate so this raring is just for that. Would not recommend the hot chocolate.

Very good store. The chocolate caramel apples with peanuts are the best. Ask the staff to slice them because they will and it makes it easier to eat.

We stopped in and got three caramel apples, a chocolate covered pretzel, and a caramel and chocolate covered rice Krispy treat. They were all yummy, though some of the apple flavors were better than others. The Apple Pie Apple? SUPER YUMMY! We will definitely get that one again. We got one that was chocolate and toffee, and it was underwhelming. The sea salt caramel was ok, but not fabulous. It was not salted enough to be sea salt caramel, but enough to be too salty for normal, so it was just kind of, off. All in all, it was a good once in a while treat, but too much to be an all the time thing. Our treats cost $37 with the apples being the most expensive individual items at 7.50 each. They did cut them up for us though so all 6 people were able to try the different flavors without slobbering all over the same apple. THAT was MUCH appreciated!

When we travel down to Utah, this is our go to stop. We stopped in and got a lot of truffles for the holidays, and we had to get the dipped strawberries and cherries!!! The staff is amazing.
